MIRACLE LEGION

Miracle Legion formed in the the 80’s and became something of a cult hit following acclaim from the likes of NME and Melody Maker and the release of their debut album on Rough Trade Records. They released several albums and toured the US and Europe. They split in the 90’s and did other things.

Singer Mark Mulcahy would go on to form Polaris and make solo records and Scott Boutier and Dave MaCaffrey joined up with Frank Black and became The Catholics.

Miracle Legion came back together in 2016 and played a bunch of shows all over the US & the UK, including their last ever show in San Francisco. Well that was a scam, and now they are back at it again. They told a lie, but the truth is out. ML 2024!!!

THE BACKYARD COMMITTEE

The Backyard Committee is a New Haven band that plays New Haven songs for people who live in and around New Haven. Our genre is sort of a psychedelic Americana, with some ‘90s-era indie influences, and a heavy dose of improvisation. If you aren’t afraid the wheels are about to fall off, then we’re not doing our job. The lineup is different for each show, but every member is in like 50 other bands you probably already know. Our most recent album is called Surf Hotel Ghosts and it came out in March 2020, just in time for the pandemic. It’s streaming everywhere you might think to stream it.
