JESS CORNELIUS
New Zealand-born and raised Jess Cornelius spent her musically formative years in Melbourne, Australia, where she released four critically acclaimed albums under the moniker Teeth & Tongue.
In 2016 Jess began working under her own name, and moved to Los Angeles after releasing the ‘Nothing is Lost’ EP. Her follow-up album, “Distance” was released on Loantaka and Part Time Records in 2020.
While the sonic tones and textures on the album evoke certain classic staples of Americana, soul and rock and roll, Cornelius' lyrics anchor the songs to a deeply personal place. Described by Pitchfork as "funny, self-effacing, and honest" she sings of a miscarriage, a messy romantic affair, and the frustrations that come with having a partner. As a result, the songs showcase her gift for delivering a devastating line over the most soothing of sounds.
With the help of producer Tony Buchen, Distance became a roving affair, recorded in a string of Los Angeles studios with delicate and emphatic contributions from the local music scene, including Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint), harpist Mary Lattimore, Emily Elhaj (Angel Olsen), Stephanie Drootin (Bright Eyes), Jesse Quebbeman-Turley (Hand Habits), whistler Molly Lewis, Justin Sullivan (Night Shop, Kevin Morby) and Laura Jean Anderson.

QUEEN MOO
Queen Moo is an American Rock n' Roll band born in the year 2013 and raised in the great city of Hartford, Connecticut. Queen Moo is comprised of Jason Rule, Kevin O'Donnell, and Nick Charlton. They are friends.
Sonically, the trio’s palette is diverse, drawing influence from all over the map—from 60’s free jazz giants to the hard rock heroes of the past 50 years to the great folk singers of the 20th century. Though, if asked, the group will simply state that they are a rock n’ roll band. Their penchant for improvisation promises that no two Queen Moo shows will be the same, an experience not typical of your average 2024 concert experience.
Their latest album, Too Troo (2024), is the sequel to 2022’s The Electric Trooth, and finds the band exploring one of rock n’ roll’s most frequented themes: rock n’ roll itself. On “Stuck Between a Rock and a Roll Place”, Jason’s signature belted croon sails above the shimmer of the overdriven guitars and asks the listener: “Tell us… can we rock n’ roll with you?”
You can find the band cruising up and down I-91 in their Honda Odyssey, rocking from Middletown to Michigan Lakes for the next 5-40 years.
